Easy to transport
Manitou introduces two new compact telehandlers in a completely new series: the ULM-412 and the ULM-415. ULM stands for Ultra Light Manitou. One of the most important features of the machines is their low weight. The new telehandlers have been designed for easy transport on a trailer towed behind a 4×4, with an all-up weight of between 2500kg and 2900kg depending on specification.
With the new super compact telehandlers, Manitou is targeting horticulture, farmers, event organizations and rental companies.
Announcement
The ULM telehandlers were announced last year, at the same time as the new Manitou MRT Vision and Vision+ telehandlers. The actual introduction of the machines should have taken place at the Agritechnica exhibition in November 2021. However, this show was cancelled, which made Manitou decide to present the telehandlers to the general public at the end of January 2022.
